Scarification is used for the preparation of a turfed surface to ensure that waste product is removed (including moss and grass clippings), aeration and preparation for additional seeding during this period of ground maintenance.

Andy Butler Sports Ground Specialist is able to offer the scarification process as a service to clients, whether as part of a sports ground maintenance contract or one off season maintenance of a particular ground or pitch.

The scarifying process can be combined with other maintenance procedures, particularly during a closed season period.

Graden Scarifier

We use a Graden scarifier to complete the scarification process on golf courses, tees, fairways, bowling greens, croquet lawns in particular.
